Grace Gale Slane

Grace Gale Slane
September 13, 1936 ~ March 17, 2024

Grace was born in Oilton, Oklahoma to the late Arthur P. Slane and Gladys M. (Potts) Slane on September 13, 1936. She passed from this life in Bartlesville on March 17, 2024 at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 4 days. Grace was raised and educated in Oilton, Drumright & Shamrock. She was a graduate of Shamrock High School and had lived in Shamrock all of her adult life.

She was the caretaker of the family; taking care of her father, and two brothers until their death. She and her sister Wilda lived together east of Shamrock and took care of each other. While Wilda worked outside of the home, Grace never did. she was in charge of taking care of the house. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: her beloved Wilda Slane and Juanita Pollock, 3 Brothers: her twin: Grant Slane - Louis Slane and Larry Slane.

At the time of her death she was survived by 3 Brothers: Clifford Slane of Texas - Jerry Slane of Drumright - Charles Slane of Claremore; 3 Sisters: Kay Inman of California - Myrna McBroom of Drumright - Mary Robel of Choctaw; plus numerous Nieces - Nephews - Cousins & other relatives.
