Alvin Matt Skow, Sr

Alvin Matt Skow, Sr
June 5, 1941 ~ April 13, 2023

Down all the highways that you’ve traveled; blacktop, stone and even gravel; on every journey through and through God’s Angels Rode with you. Alvin was born June 5, 1941 in Elcampo, Texas to Arnold Skow and Minnie Olsen. On April 13, 2023 Alvin Matt Skow, Sr. took his final ride.

He was an OTR truck Driver for over 56 years. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alvin would be at home anywhere he had a pole in the water fishing or eating some BBQ. If he had his family, a pole in the water and eating BBQ at the same time, that is what he called a perfect day.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Minnie (Olson) Skow; brother, Roy Skow; and sister, Delores Ritter. Survivors include his sons, Kenny Skow of Sidney, Nebraska, Dennis & Tylene Skow of Davenport, Matt Skow, Jr of Stroud; grandchildren, David & Kayla Skow of Colorado, Heather Skow and her spouse Leah of Chandler, Brooky Skow of Davenport, Nick Skow of Joplin; great- grandchildren, Kaiden and Jaxon of Colorado,; Chance, Damien & Izzabella of Chandler, Stacey Krull of Davenport; bonus daughter, Elizabeth Qawishabazz, of Joplin; along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins from Elcampo, Texas.

The Family Will have a private memorial later. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
