Ilene Skinner, 93, of Lawson, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Ilene was born on July 23, 1929, in Leon to Buford Phillips and Minnie Bone. She graduated from Leon High School. Ilene married Ronald Skinner on June 9, 1955, in Marietta. She worked for Thompson Title for many years until retirement. Throughout her life, Ilene enjoyed fishing, traveling, spending time with family, baking and sharing her treats.
Ilene was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Skinner; parents, Buford Phillips and Minnie Bone; sisters, Cathy Taliaferro, Laura Bell, and Rosella Sue Barrick; and brothers, Sammie Jo Phillips, Sid Bone Jr., and Jerry Bone.
Survivors include her children, LaVeta (Dennis) Mabbott, Carl Skinner, and Phyllis (Dennis) Schwab; grandchildren, Sinda (Scott) Warren, Derek (Jackie) Schwab, Travis (Ryann) Schwab, Kerri (Jason) Schwab-Wetzel; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Cal Bone, Marion Bone, John Bone, and Jimmie Dale Bone.
