Bessie �Beth Perry� Skaggs age 84 of Houston, TX, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Houston. She was born June 25, 1930 in Wheatland, Oklahoma to Etwell Dewey Perry and Bessie (Jeffery) Perry. Bessie grew up in Tuttle and graduated from Tuttle High School.

She is survived by her husband James D. Skaggs; her sons, Charles and James; 6 grandchildren, as well as other family and friends. The Skaggs family will be present to receive friends Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Dettling Funeral Home, 14094 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77079.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home, 3132 Tri City Ave. in Newcastle, OK.

A private interment will be held following visitation.
