Welletta Lou "Willie" Sipe

May 18, 1938 ~ Jun 29, 2005

A memorial service for Welletta "Willie" Lou Sipe, 67, of Kingfisher, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sanders Funeral Chapel, Kingfisher. The Rev. Michael Strange will officiate.

She was born May 18, 1938, in Halstead, Kan., to Myrle and Jo Groves Sipe and died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City.

She moved with her children to Kingfisher in 1974. She worked as a pin-setter at her parents' bowling center in Kingfisher. She also worked as a cook at Second Shamrock Nursing Home, retiring in 2000.

Surviving are two sons, Bobby Sessions of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Tom Hendricks of Kingfisher; one daughter, Debbie Major of Kingfisher; one stepson, Steve Hendricks of Oklahoma City; two stepdaughters, Debbie Lile of Waukomis and Pam Lile of Enid; two sisters, Avis Mardis and Norma Kramer, both of Pratt, Kan.; nine grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight great-step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and two step grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Deaconess Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK 73112, or the Oklahoma Institute for the Blind.
