Janet Ruth (DeArmon) Sindelar
December 17, 1951 ~ December 31, 2020

Janet Ruth Sindelar, 69, of Ponca City, Ok, passed away on December 31, 2020. Janet was born to parents Arley and Zella DeArmon, on December 17, 1951 in Ponca City, OK.

Janet graduated from Ponca City High School in 1969. She then worked for numerous companies and organizations in various locations in the midwestern US.

Janet enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and loving on her grandchildren and great grand children. She also had a passion for music and singing.

Janet and Jim were married on April 12, 1979, in Ponca City . They spent 41 wonderful years together. They raised two boys together: John and Jared.

Janet is survived by one brother and one sister, loving husband Jim, of the home, son John and wife Lori, of Ponca City, son Jared and wife Jamie, of Ponca City, Grandchildren, Trey Treat and wife Morgan, of Enid, Chelsey Sindelar and fiancé Chris, of Ponca City, Jude and Joliann, of Ponca City, Great grandchildren Heidi and CJ, Sister-in-laws Connie Porter and family, of Ponca City, Linda Mendenhall and family, of Medford, Oregon, life long friend Paula Harryman and family, of Ponca City, God daughter Jen Monceaux and family, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, many nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

The family has entrusted Grace Memorial with the arrangements. There will be no service per Janet’s request. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma or Stillwater Cancer center. We would also like to thank Mandy with Precise Home Health and Loren with hospice for Janet’s excellent care.
