Michael D. Sims
March 17, 1944 ~ November 24, 2020

Michael D. Sims, 76, died peacefully on November 24, 2020 in Midwest City, OK. He was born on March 17, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Michael worked at Tinker AFB for 37 years. He retired December 28, 2001 as a Planning Engineer. He was best known for his noteworthy woodworking skills. He was a loving husband, dad, and Papa. Michael enjoyed traveling and Wednesday breakfast with his buddies Calvin, Frank, Jerry, and Dave.

Michael is survived by his wife of 29 years, Brenda Sims; his daughter Michelle Silsby and husband, Michael; son Dean Sims and wife, Tiffany; step-daughter Tammy Cearnal and fiancé, Jamison; step-son Adam Hoffman and wife, Stephanie; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Ronald Sims, mother Ardath Zimmerman, step-father Lee Zimmerman, and brother Ron Sims.

A small family memorial service will be at 10:00am Monday, November 30, 2020 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel, 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, OK.
