Amy Jo (Carpenter) Simonson, a Coalgate resident, was born on February 26, 1978, to Paul Dennis and Janice Mae (Wolf) Carpenter at Beatrice, NE. She passed away on January 6, 2025, at her home in Coalgate, at the age of 46 years, 10 months and 11 days.
Amy graduated from Beatrice High School in the Class of 1996. She was a loving mother and housewife. Amy married Kristopher Dale Simonson on February 28, 2003, at Coalgate. They enjoyed 21 years together before her passing. She liked crocheting, hunting and fishing. Amy enjoyed going to concerts and rodeos. Her favorite times were spent with her family.
