James Gregory Simon, born on June 25, 1953, in Roseville, California, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Spavinaw, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. He was a person who embraced life simply and wholeheartedly, leaving a legacy that will be cherished by those who loved him.
Throughout his life, James found joy in the great outdoors, dedicating much of his time to hunting and fishing.
James is survived by his daughters, Veronica Simon of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Alishia Simon of Fair Oaks, California. He also leaves behind his sisters, Joann Petersen and husband Lile of Montana, and Linda Chaney and husband Tony of Orangeville, California. His family circle is completed by his cherished grandchildren, Mariah, Phoenix, and Wyatt, who will carry fond memories of their grandfather with them throughout their lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Venice (Wilkey) Simon; his wife, Carol Simon; and his grandson, Grayson Simon.
