Geraldine Marie (Salazar) Silva

Feb. 16, 1929 ~ Nov. 16, 2011

Geraldine Marie Silva, 82, of Bokoshe died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, in Bokoshe.

She was born Feb. 16, 1929, in National City, Calif., to Octovio and Frances (Salas) Salazar.

Geraldine Salazar married Joe Susano Silva on Aug. 3, 1947. in Los Angeles. She was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, John Silva.

Geraldine is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe Silva; a son, Joseph Silva of Bokoshe; a daughter, Christina Verdugo of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Gilbert Salazar; three sisters, Frances Milano, Beverly Saenz and Dorothy Brooks; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
