Teresa Louise (Cantrell) Silcox

Teresa Louise (Cantrell) Silcox
January 5, 1951 ~ April 11, 2026

Teresa Louise Silcox, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away on April 11, 2026.

Teresa was born on January 5, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to John and Gladys Cantrell. She graduated from McLain High School in 1969 and went on to build a life centered around both hard work and caring for others. She worked as a hairdresser and later as a medical assistant, always bringing kindness and dedication to those she served.

On January 14, 1970, Teresa married the love of her life, Waburn Silcox. Together they shared 56 years of marriage, building a life full of love, faith, and family.

Teresa’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them and found true happiness in being surrounded by those she loved. She enjoyed gardening, nurturing both her plants and her family with the same care, and was very active in her church, where her faith remained an important part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Brian Silcox; and her brother, Anthony Cantrell.

Teresa is survived by her devoted husband, Waburn Silcox; her daughter, Kimberly Hakel and husband Kyle; her son, Kevin W. Silcox; a cherished host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Johnel Ackerman, Angel Scarvelis, Timothy Cantrell, and David Cantrell.

Teresa will be remembered for her loving heart, her strong faith, and the devotion she gave so freely to her family. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she leaves behind.
