Ralph Edward "Buster" Sidebottom

February 3, 1951 ~ January 23, 2018

Ralph "Buster" Edward Sidebottom, age, 66, a resident of Welling, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born February 3, 1951 in Evansville, Arkansas, the son of J.W. and Elsie Everett Sidebottom.

Ralph was a Fireman and First Responder for the Farmington Volunteer Fire Department where he retired as Captain. He was an avid fisherman and a member of numerous fishing clubs. He owned and operated C&R Marine in Farmington before relocating to Welling. He enjoyed being with his family and the outdoors. He was very proud of his '66 Mustang," Ms. Betsy", that he spent so many hours restoring her. He was passionate about being a good father, grandfather, great-grandfather and role model to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy Dale Sidebottom and Rex Sidebottom, one sister, Reda Faye Fimple and one grandson, Alex Joseph Wood.

Survivors include his wife GaNyn Sidebottom; one daughter, Lorie Todd and husband Wade of Ash Flat, Ark., three sons, Terry Wood of Virginia Beach, Va., Justin Wood of Fayetteville, Ark., and Nathan Wood and his fiance Ashley also of Fayetteville, Ark., five brothers, Bo Sidebottom and wife Diane of Cherry Tree, Robert Sidebottom and wife Patricia of Nicut, Ron Sidebottom and wife Julie of West Fork, Ark., Rick Sidebottom and fiance Rita of Stilwell, and Raymond Todd Sidebottom also of Stilwell, two sisters, Reva  Jean Dwyer and husband Fred of Leadhill, Ark. and Ruby Workman and husband Roger of Stilwell, six grandchildren, Blake Todd and wife Amber, Chandler Todd, Jackson Cole Wood, Faith Evonne Wood, Bryson Asher Wood and Kaelen Irene Mills; two great-grandchildren, Clarissa Mae Todd and Kaydence Grace Todd, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion.
