Jackie Lee Shrum

August 18, 1952 ~ March 7, 2020

Jackie Lee Shrum, 67, of Bartlesville, passed away on March 7, 2020 at The Journey Home.

Jackie, also affectionately known as Doughboy and Papa Doughboy, was born August 18, 1952 to Wesley Shrum and Sendie Elkins in Bartlesville. He attended school in Bartlesville, going on to become a truck driver for 40 years with Allied Tower and Lone Wolf Trucking Companies, going by the handle, “Bumper Jack”. He was married to Donna Ruth Thomason on August 18, 1973 and they made their home in Bartlesville. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Jackie was preceded in death by his father Wesley Shrum, sister Rene Havel, brothers Wesley Shrum and Keith Shrum, granddaughter Susie Shrum, Granny Mathis and his Uncle J.D. Elkins.

He is survived by his wife Donna Shrum, son Jackson and wife Becky Shrum, son Jason and wife Judy Shrum, son Charles Shrum, daughter Sarah Shrum, daughter Ashlea Shrum, daughter Jacklyn Shrum, grandchildren Whitney Walker, Grace, Louis, Tyler, Joseph, Jessie, great grandchildren, uncle Pete Elkins and uncle Jerry Mathis. He is also survived by his mother Sendie Margaryan, five brothers Ronnie, Jonnie, Donnie, Leroy, and Danny, five sisters Diane, Ellen, Tammy, Brenda and foster sister Penny, many nieces and nephews, and special friend Sheena.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
