Roger Lee Shouse

Roger Lee Shouse
July 30, 1958 ~ March 22, 2021

Roger Shouse, age 62 of Tuttle, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Okla. City.

Roger Lee Shouse was born July 30, 1958 in Tulsa, OK, and was adopted by Levi ‘Rass’ Shouse and Helen (Carter) Shouse.

Roger was an excellent mechanic and handyman. He worked for 19 years for the Ford Motor Company. Since his retirement, he enjoyed repairing and restoring small engines, brush hogging with his tractor and mowing yards for others. Roger stayed as busy, as his body allowed.

He was kind and considerate, and always ready to help others. He enjoyed browsing flea markets and never missed an opportunity to go places, especially the beach.

Roger met Marcene Ogburn, and the two were the perfect match. They fell in love and were married on December 11, 2019 in Branson, MO. He was a wonderful husband, nephew, cousin, brother, uncle, and a true friend. In the year and a half that he and Marcene were married he became a true father-in-love and grandfather-in-love.

He will be dearly, dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his son, Mitchell Shouse; his parents, Rass and Helen Shouse; 2 sisters, Laura Fields and Margaret Bancroft; and 5 brothers, Charles, Dennis, Levi, Bob and Jerry.

Roger is survived by: his wife, Marcene of the home; his daughters in love; Somer Heslar and husband Clark of Muskogee, and Tessa Jaco of Mustang; sisters, Sandra Shouse of Catoosa, and Sue Wilson of California; his aunt, Wanda Shouse of Kellyville; 4 grandchildren, Zayde, Hallee, Emery, and Brennan; several cousins who were like siblings, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 27, 2021, at True Oak Fellowship in Tuttle. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com
