Terry Guy “Bulldog” Shipley
November 2, 1938 ~ March 1, 2011 (age 72)

Terry Guy “Bulldog” Shipley, 72, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  He was born November 2, 1938 in Oklahoma City to W. Ralph and Elizabeth Adleen (Stone) Shipley.  He was united in marriage to Shirley Jo Burchfield on September 1, 1989 in South Padre Island, Texas.

Terry attended the University of Oklahoma graduating with a Juris Doctorate in law in 1965 and was a practicing attorney at the time of his death.  He was a member of the Del City Lions Club.  Terry enjoyed fishing, working with stain glass and grilling out for his family and friends.

Terry is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; two sons; Sam Shipley and wife Kathi; Zachary Ruth and his fiance, Alicia Harding; three daughters; Gayla Ruth and her fiance Rhett Pease; Dottie Preston and husband Andy; and Michelle Stoll; brother, Jerry Shipley and wife Josie; sister, Debbie Crandall and husband Bing; grandchildren, Grayson Greggory Walker Smith and Alexander Robert Preston; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends; and the best dog ever, Luci.
