PAMPA - Donnie Lee Shipley Sr., 57, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Albert Maggard, pastor of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Shipley was a lifelong resident of Pampa, graduating from Pampa High School in 1962. He was a deliveryman for Hoagie's Deli.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; two sons, Donnie Lee "D.L." Shipley Jr. of Pampa and Bobby J. Simmons of Hinton, Okla; three daughters, Carolyn Joyce White, Kristie Dawn Fuller and Kendra LaShelle Henderson, all of Pampa; a brother, Kenneth Shipley of Arlington; two sisters, Judy Haynes and Gay Dismuke, both of Pampa; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Pampa Special Olympics.
