Anita Mae (Knaggs) Shepherd
July 12, 1923 ~ Oct. 5, 2013

ENID, OK - Anita Mae Shepherd, 90, of Enid, was born July 12, 1923, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of Percy and Thada Wilson Knaggs, and passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at her residence.

She was raised and educated in Enid, working at Enid State School for many years.

Anita married Alfred S. "Red" Telinde. He passed away Oct. 1, 1973. She then married Ralph Shepherd. He passed away in 1989.

Survivors include two sons, Terry and wife Cathy Telinde of the residence and Mike Telinde of Covington; daughter, Linda Postier of Covington; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Anita was preceded in passing by both husbands, Red and Ralph, her parents, two brothers, one grandson, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

A private service will be held at a later date.
