Annette (Gomez) Sheid

Annette Sheid, 65, of Blanchard, OK, passed away on March 1, 2016. Annette was born in Austin, TX on May 13, 1950. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School, Fort Worth, TX, in 1968.

Annette was married to Steve Sheid on July 31, 1974; they were married for 42 years.

Annette's first love was supporting and caring for her family. She was a homemaker until her children went off to college. In 2004, she began working at Sooner State Bank in Newcastle, OK. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Stephanie, and son, Tommy. She often stated that they were her greatest accomplishment. In her free time, she enjoyed working in the garden with her husband, Steve, and taking care of her grandchildren. At night you could find her talking on the phone with her twin sister and best friend, Barbara.

Annette is survived by her husband, Steve Sheid; daughter, Stephanie Nesmith; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Tara Sheid; sister, Barbara Bailey; sister-in-law, Lou Sheid; grandchildren: Camrin and Syler Nesmith, Tenley and Timber Sheid, and soon to be baby Emmie; nephews, Charlie, Will, and Matt Bailey; nieces, Deann Cross and Brandi Morrison; and many other family and friends.

Annette is preceded in death by her father and mother, Eduardo and Bettye Gomez, and several other loving family members.

The family will be holding a private memorial to celebrate the life of Annette Sheid. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
