Kenneth “Kenny” Wiley Shea, age 55 of Purcell died Sunday August 12, 2012 at his home in Purcell. He was born December 15, 1956 in Purcell, the youngest of 9 children born to Noah Joseph (Jay) Shea and Mattie Marie (Pat) Bodine Shea.

He grew up in Purcell and attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church’s Parochial School until it closed when he was in the 4th grade. He then attended Purcell Schools where he graduated in 1975. After high school he worked various jobs in the oilfield. He was a sports enthusiast. He also loved fishing, singing & being around his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by: Parents: Jay and Pat Shea 3 Brothers: Frank, Richard & Mark 2 Sisters: Barbara Riley & Mary Jo Carter

He is survived by: Wife: Pam of the home Son: Jason Shea of Purcell 2 Daughters: Nicole Wen of Ft Worth, Tx Rachel Shea of Purcell 2 Brothers: Mike Shea of Purcell Jerry Don Shea & wife Ruth of Norman 1 Sister: Joan Pelland & husband Tom of Poteau 4 Grandchildren: Alyssa, Cassidy, Adrian, & Nickolas

A private family service will be held in Purcell
