Paula Shawn
July 1, 1964 ~ November 1, 2017

Paula Shawn, age 53 of Purcell, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Paula Geanette Shawn was born July 1, 1964 in Shawnee, OK, the baby of 3 children born to Jackie Dewayne Shawn and Theresa Mae (Hudson) Shawn. She was raised in Shawnee and attended Shawnee Schools.

Paula married young, and was the proud mother of 2 sons, Kristopher and Johnny. She worked various odd jobs, but her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She cherished her time with her grandsons, Noah, Johnny Jr., Jaksun and Liam. Paula had a heart of gold, and opened her home to many children in need. She was a mother to many! She was very artistic and enjoyed crafting and horticulture. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Jackie and Theresa Shawn.

Paula leaves behind: Her sons, Kristopher Shawn, Johnny Shawn and wife Niki, John Mayo and David Edwards, all of Purcell; Sister, Tammy Cassell of Asher, OK; Brother, Garner Shawn and wife Pam of Roundrock, TX; 4 grandchildren, Noah, Johnny Jr., Jaksun and Liam and A host of adopted family and other family and friends.

Memorial Services are pending.
