Margie Jean (Brooks) Shapiro

February 2, 1924 ~ 2012

Margie Jean (Brooks) Shapiro, 88, of Bartlesville died at 8:20 PM Monday.

Private family services will be held later. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Margie Jean Shapiro was born on February 2, 1924 at Wann, Oklahoma the daughter of Frank and Myrtle (Chipman) Brooks. She was raised in Coffeyville, Kansas. She married Bennett Shapiro on April 11, 1966 at Carson City, Nevada and returned to this area. She had been a Hairdresser in California.

Margie is survived by her husband Ben of the home, one son Bob Roberts of Redlands, California, one daughter Rae Jean Manrique of Redlands, California, one brother, Donald Joe Brooks of Bartlesville, one sister Bonnie Louise Mauk of San Bernardino, California, four grandchildren, Claudia Miklusek of Yucaipa, California, Steve Manrique of Mentone, California, Rachel Roberts and Ryan Roberts of Manhattan, New York, one great granddaughter, Daphne, Manrique.
