Margaret Helen (Schupp) Shaha

February 15, 1918 ~ October 20, 2013

Margaret Helen Schupp Shaha, 95, passed away October 20th, 2013. Margaret was born February 15th, 1918 in Temple, Oklahoma to Orpheus William and Sarah Margaret (Hurst) Schupp.

Margaret was everything a daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother and great grandmother should be. She set a wonderful example to her children about being kind, considerate and loving.

Margaret enjoyed traveling, square dancing, playing cards, bowling, sewing (ask Terri about the matching Easter dresses) arts and crafts, She was very artistic, She painted, did pottery, made doll houses for the girls, and porcelain dolls with silk dresses, everything she tried she was good at. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved animals especially horses. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving she always cooked the best meal.

She was very involved in the church. She was the treasurer for many years, She was also a part of the women's group, kiawans, and bible studies groups. You never heard Margaret say one bad or hurtful thing about anybody. She was a country girl at heart. While a part of the assisted living she was involved in the bible study, arts and crafts and playing bingo or dominos.

She is survived by her daughter Terri Silvey and husband Richard; son Ken and wife Gail Shaha; daugter in law Carol Haller; grandchildren: Aubrey, Lauren, John-Michael, Shawn, Ryan, Colin, Meaghan; great grandchildren: Sarach, Rachael, Beck. Dog Coco.

Preceded in death by her husband Lewis, son: Bryan, brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of McLoud.
