Patricia June (Bell) Shadix
June 16, 1933 ~ September 1, 2022 (age 89)

Patricia Shadix, 89, of Shawnee passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Shawnee.

She was born June 16, 1933 to George and Alma (Fesser) Bell in Great Bend, Kansas.

Pat waitressed for many years at Bea Brittan's, Arts Cafe and Curtis Watson's Restaurants. She never met a stranger and was loved by all.

Pat loved spending time with her sons, and especially her grandson, Chance. He was her pride and joy.

Pat also loved sports. She couldn't get enough of OKC Thunder Basketball and OU Sooner Football. She enjoyed watching all their games. Pat was also an avid QVC shopper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shadix, Sr.; son, Berry Shadix; parents, George and Alma Bell; sister, Betty Reeves; and brother, Wilbur Bell.

Pat's surviving family includes her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Paula Shadix, Shawnee and Thomas Shadix and Laurie Moon, Shawnee; grandson, Chance Shadix; granddaughters, Lacie Moon and Lillie Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Townsend, Bethel Acres Assembly Church officiating. Please join the celebration of Pat's life through Cooper Funeral Home's Facebook page for live streaming of the service.
