Edward “Ed” Sexton
November 4, 1960 ~ July 8, 2021

Edward “Ed” Sexton, age 60, of Stillwater passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Stillwater Medical Center. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Ed was born November 4, 1960 in Boynton Beach, Florida to Fredrick Earl Sexton and Ruth Ann Pleasant. He lived Montana and New Mexico during his younger years and later moved to Stillwater where he attended and graduated from C. E. Donart High School in 1979. He worked 32 years for Mercury Mercruiser before relocating to Fond du Lac Wisconsin where he retired after 40 years. He and Linda Roberts were married February 14, 2009 in Morrison, Oklahoma. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by so many.

Survivors include his loving wife, Linda of the home; daughter, Amanda Sexton of Stillwater, Oklahoma; stepchildren, Samantha Duncan, Katherine Wright, and Nicholas Duncan and wife Shiloh all of Stillwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Aurora, Alexandra, Aiden, Mason, Lilly, McKenzie, Jordan, Charles, Zoey, Joseph, and Axel; brother, David Sexton and wife Rita of Norman, Oklahoma; and sister, Dawn Wilson of Kyle, Texas; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 9AM to 8PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater. A Celebration of Ed’s life will be on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel.
