Alton "Wayne" Seward

July 28, 1943 ~ December 31, 2006

Alton "Wayne" Seward, 63, Rush Springs, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 in Rush Springs.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Wayne was born Wednesday, July 28, 1943 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Rannie Alton and Flossie Belle [Payton] Seward. He graduated from Minco.

Wayne lived in Chickasha, Minco, Oklahoma City and in 1999 he moved to Rush Springs.

He married Sandra Kay Williams on July 28, 2003 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Wayne worked for Wilhoite's Camshafts and United Motors. He enjoyed sports, yardwork and woodwork. Wayne also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports.

Survivors include, wife, Sandra Seward of the home; four daughters, Lisa Wenzel & husband Terry of Chickasha, OK; Tammy Reid & husband Stan of Oklahoma City, OK; Janice Osborne of Van Buren, AR; Crystal Shields & husband David of Harrah, OK; 20 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Virginia Cribbs & husband Haskell of Cyril, OK; step-son, David Patton & wife Aileene of Bradley, OK; Brandy Jones & husband John Eric of Rush Springs, OK; Melinda Patton of Rush Springs, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three step-sons; one brother and two sisters.
