Donald Lee Self
January 28, 1934 ~ November 16, 2005

Donald Lee Self Services: Mon., Nov. 21, 1:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Donald Lee Self, 71, who passed away November 16, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor Larry Wood will officiate.

Mr. Self was born on January 28, 1934, in Lookeba, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 55 years.

He worked as a service station attendant for five years. Mr. Self was a member of Valley Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons and 1 grandson.

Survivors include his wife Martha Self; son James Self; son and daughter-in-law Donald Lee Self II and Michelle all of Bakersfield; daughters Linda Sue Smith of Bullhead City, Arizona and Rosalie Tanner of Medford, Oregon; son Gary Lee Self of Oregon; five grandsons; four granddaughters; three great grandchildren; brother Charles Self of Oklahoma City, OK and sister Wanda Sue Galvan of Bakersfield.

Visitation continues this morning at 9:00 a.m.
