David Carl Sefton passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 65 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, OK. David was born on February 21, 1959 to Carl Thomas Sefton and Janet Barbara Sefton in Harvey Illinois.
David led a life marked by a deep appreciation for music and nature, particularly evident in his love for attending concerts and his passion for beekeeping.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter and only child, Rachel L. Hitchcock, son-in-law Michael D. Hitchcock, Jr., and grandchildren Jacob, Levi, and Eve. He is also survived by his sister, Cheryll Adam, and his former wife of 35 years, Dawn Sefton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Sefton, and his parents, Carl and Janet Sefton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in his hometown in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and legacy. David's love for life and his contributions to his community will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
