Jesse Dewayne Seaton

July 8, 1957 ~ January 18, 2022

Jesse Dewayne Seaton, 64, a long-time resident of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on January 18, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Jesse was born on July 8, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to L.J. “Dick” Seaton and Janice Ferrell. He grew up in the Paden, Oklahoma, area, graduating from Paden High School in 1975. After high school, Jesse served our country in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic.

Jesse was a proud life-long mechanic. He moved to Prague in 1989, where he owned and operated Prague Auto Service for over 25 years.

When Jesse wasn’t working as a mechanic, he enjoyed boating and fishing at the lake. He owned a lake house on Lake Eufaula where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He spent some time coaching t-ball and softball in Prague, especially the teams of his children. Jesse also was a hunter and was known to make the best deer jerky and was also known to make the best wine. He loved to play guitar and sing, and when he was younger, he played in the local band, “Southern Breeze.”

Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Ferrell, and a sister, Renee Seaton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, L.J. “Dick” Seaton; his children, Tiffany Matheson, Amanda Seaton, Joshua Seaton, Charlie Wise, Tara Rodriguez and her husband, Mike; his brother, Rod Seaton and his wife, Patricia; sister, Brenda Fixson and her husband, Scott; his grandchildren, Chevelle Seaton, Dominik Seaton, Braylenn Joseph, Miguel Rodriguez, Malachi Rodriguez, Kannon Seaton, Addi Jane Seaton, and Americus Bryant; nieces and nephews, Crystal Perkins, Chad Seaton, Angela Avery, Jessica Seaton, Felicia Gamble, Ashley Trevizo, Tyler Starks, and Lizabeth Starks, Rodney Garner and Renee Pepper; a bonus brother Corky Smith and his wife, Candy; as well as a host of other family members and friends.
