Claude Alan Seaman

Claude Alan Seaman
May 31, 1958 ~ October 03, 2020

Claude Alan Seaman, age 62, passed away on October 3rd, 2020, in Oklahoma City, OK. Claude is survived by his wife, Karen, of thirty-seven years; his children, Charlie, Laura and Katie; his grandchildren; Allie and Cara as well as his brother, Ken. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Lonnie and Betty Seaman.

Claude was born on May 31st, 1958 in Dallas, TX, to parents Lonnie and Betty. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1980 with a degree in Accounting. After marrying, he moved to Coppell, TX and accepted a position as an accountant at a small oil and gas company, where he worked for more than twenty years. He finished his career as the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Continental Resources.

Claude was a great family man and a loving father. He married Karen in 1983 and the couple had three children together. He was very active in the lives of his children whether it involved coaching a sports team, going on camping vacations, attending any performance or staying up late to help with a project that had been procrastinated on.

Claude was one of the most extroverted accountants that you will find. He was social, active man who was deeply involved in music of some kind for the majority of his life. He also enjoyed volunteering at the food bank, scuba diving, and photography. His family and friends will always remember him as a joyful, helpful person who was always there to support you with 110% of what he could give.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday, October 9rd, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Service with a close family and friends’ reception to follow at their house. Daniel U’Ren of Western Oaks Christian Church will officiate. All are welcome to attend the service to celebrate Claude’s life. Social distancing and masks are required during the service. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to the Regional Foodbank of Oklahoma at regionalfoodbank.org. The family truly appreciates your thoughts and prayers as they learn/work to honor Claude’s love and legacy going forward.
