Virginia Louise Scott
October 23, 1953 ~ February 10, 2020

Virginia Louise Scott, 66, of Afton, Oklahoma passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 in Miami, Oklahoma.

Virginia was born on October 23, 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Charles High and Patricia McIntosh. She attended Ramona High School and received her GED. Virginia later went to Vatterott College in Joplin, Missouri. After she went to work for Tri State Agriculture Service in Afton, Oklahoma for fifteen years. Virginia also worked for the Cherokee Nation Health Center in Vinita, Oklahoma.

Virginia was an avid basketball player in her youth and young adulthood. She also liked to open a book and read for hours. Virginia is also known to her family as “Gino”, “Aunt Gino” and “Mimi” and “Grandma” to her grandkids. She enjoyed many things throughout her life but her most treasured time was always being surrounded by her family and friends.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Bradley Scott and a great nephew, Brett Gougler.

Virginia is survived by her four children, Johnny and Tammy Scott of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Angela and Jay Wyatt of Elk City, Oklahoma, Trish and Trey Wright of Grove, Oklahoma and Samantha and Kelly Shive of Chouteau, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; seven sisters; one brother; numerous nieces, nephew, family, friends and friends that became family.

A Memorial service will be at 11:00am Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel.
