Marie Scott

Marie Scott
October 16, 1961 ~ August 24, 2022

Marie Scott was born October 16, 1961, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and she departed this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her home at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 8 days. Marie was the daughter of Charley and Lizzie Scott.

Marie had many hobbies including crocheting, yard sales, she loved her puppies and her roses, and watching sports. She loved being a homemaker, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends. Marie worked for Cherokee Nation for many years.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother: Charley and Lizzie Scott; 3 brothers: Charley Scott, Jr., Jimmy Scott, and John Scott; and 2 sisters: Shirley (Scott) Ketcher, and Betty Scott.

Marie is survived by her husband: Edgar Sam; and her daughter: Mary Lynn Scott both of the home; 2 sisters: Sharon Factor and husband Daryl, and Lydia Scott all of Stilwell, Oklahoma. Marie had several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who also survive her. She will be missed dearly.

Funeral Service was held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Piney Creek Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK under the direction of Roberts-Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
