Kevin George Scott

Kevin George Scott
November 8, 1969 ~ August 21, 2020

Kevin George Scott, son of George and Janice Scott was born November 8, 1969 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The Lord called him home on August 21, 2020 at the age of 50 years, 9 months and 13 days.

In Kevin's younger days he enjoyed working on cars and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow up. He would always say, "If it wasn't for Myla coming into my room every day I wouldn't have a reason to wake up, she keeps me going" as well as all of his other grandkids. If there was a time his kids needed him he was always there. He attended Calvary Southern Baptist Church in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He gave his life back to the Lord 3 years ago. After giving his life back, the people who knew him and met him saw a change that the Lord made in his life, and he always wanted to share that with his friends and others he met.

Kevin was recently battling stage 3 cancer. He always trusted the Lord that there was a reason he was going through this. He fought like a warrior through his battle and never gave up but the Lord decided his battle was over and it was time for him to come home. He will always be remembered and greatly missed.

Kevin is survived by his five children Gevin Scott of the home, Meriah Kirk and husband Patrick of the home, George Scott and wife Jaynelle, Brittany Scott and Jerod Scott all of Stilwell, OK; parents George and Janice Scott of Stilwell, OK; aunt Billie Kay Soap; three sisters Georgetta Scott, Cari Scott and Deanna Scott and fiance Marcus Harper all of Stilwell, OK. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces and a wife Tina Scott of Stilwell, OK.

He is preceded in death by his brother Edward Scott, sister Sherry Scott and grandparents Louisa Blackbird and Hickey and Annie Scott.
