John Anthony Scott
December 30, 1954 ~ October 9. 2022

 John Scott, 67 year old Quinlan resident, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022 at his home. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, October 14, 2022 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Billings Funeral Home Woodward. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

John Anthony Scott was born to Leo Perry and Mable Isabell (McCoy) Scott on December 30, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. John grew in Woodward. John was united in marriage to Reba Sue Pirtle in Waynoka, Oklahoma on December 30, 1992. The couple made their home in Waynoka before settling in Quinlan.

He worked as a consultant for Tres Management. He enjoyed reading books, watching NASCAR, crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and he loved all the years of traveling the world in the Oil and Gas Industry.

John is survived by his wife Reba Scott of the home; sons, Perry Scott and wife Kaitlynne of Vici, Oklahoma; Tim Miller and wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Scott Miller of Watford City, North Dakota; daughters, Karla Kautz and husband Tom of Atchinson, Kansas; Teresa Miller and wife Wendy of Harrah, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Maya, Madison, Journey, Maddox, Izzy, and Brittany; one great grandchildren, Kadence; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Leo Scott, his mother, Mable Scott, one sister, Mary Price, one brother, Joe Scott, and one grandson, Connor Miller.
