Charles James Scott

June 1, 1906 ~ February 19, 2004

Charles James Scott was born June 1, 1906, in Madill, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Bertha Scott. He died February 19, 2004, in Mt. Mesa, California. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Dora P. Scott in November 1984 and by his son, Archie Scott in February 1990.

Mr. Scott is survived by three sons, Robert and wife, Jean, of Forrest Hills, CA, Fred and wife, Susan, of Wofford Heights, CA, and Ron and wife, Pat, of Boise, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Nora Scott of Reno, NV; three sisters; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.

The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff of the Kern Village Assisted Living Facility in Kernville and the staff of the Skilled Nursing Facility and Hospital of the Kern Valley Healthcare District in Mt. Mesa, CA.

Services for Charlie Scott will be held Friday, February 27, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at the Kernville United Methodist Church, 251 Big Blue Road, Kernville, CA.
