Tony Jack Scoggins
December 15, 1959 ~ December 25, 2022

Tony Jack Scoggins of Durant passed away peacefully on December 25, 2022 at the age of 63. He was born on December 15, 1959 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Billy Don Scoggins and Jane C. Henderson-Hobbs.

Tony was of Choctaw heritage and a true-blooded American. He was a hard worker and a man of many trades. Tony was working toward getting his master’s degree and becoming a safety inspector for OSHA. He loved fishing and tinkering with automobiles. He especially loved Fords.

He is survived by his mother Jane Henderson-Hobbs of Amarillo, Texas, his stepmother Janie Scoggins of Madill, Oklahoma, his brother Johnny Scoggins of Durant, Oklahoma, and his sister Tammy Miller and husband Edwin of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by his stepbrothers Danny Ford and wife Dayla of Minco, Oklahoma, Tim Ford of Erick, Oklahoma, Jim Hobbs and wife Michelle of Kelton, Texas, and Gordon Hobbs and wife Leasha of Panhandle, Texas, stepsisters Sherry Hill, Crystal Bittie both of Mangum, Oklahoma, Dana Robert of Durant, Oklahoma, and Carrie Mullens and husband Michael of Bowlegs, Oklahoma. Also surviving Tony are his two nieces and two nephews, and one very special furry friend, Scooter. Tony is also survived by the Marshall and Crook families.

Preceding him in death are his dad Billy Don Scoggins, stepdad James C. Hobbs, stepbrother Darren Ford, and all his grandparents.

Cremation services have been selected and a celebration of his life is pending for a later date.
