Leona Belle (Shutler) Schweitzer

Leona Belle Shutler Schweitzer was born Sept. 7, 1929, to John and Florence (McAdams) Shutler, and passed away July 6, 2016.

Leona was a life-long resident of the Omega Community, and a member of the Omega Baptist Church.

Leona enjoyed her life on the farm, taking care of her chickens and guineas, her gardens, fishing, and her family. Her grandkids were very important to her.

Preceding Leona in death were, her husband, Carl Schweitzer; three brothers, Rayfael Shutler, Warren Shutler, Ronald Shutler; two sisters, Alice Base and Lavina Ecker; one daughter, Connie Schweitzer, and two granddaughters, Stephanie Schweitzer, and Krystal Looney.

Surviving Leona are Elmer "Jack" Shutler and wife, Zelba Mae; and John Shutler and wife, Donna; two sons, Ronald Schweitzer; Donald Schweitzer and wife, Kathy; five grandchildren, Deora Marler and husband Jeff; Delecia Reherman and husband, Dave; Blake Looney; Alexandria Schweitzer; Kelly Schweitzer; five great-grandchildren, Katie and Logan Marler; Riley and Rhett Reherman; and Wyatt Burnett.
