Sandra Dee (Bates) Schultz
June 8, 1962 ~ March 7, 2019

Sandra Dee (Bates) Schultz, 56, of Perkins, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Perkins, OK. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 2PM at Life Church in Stillwater, OK. A memorial fund has been set up at Payne County Bank in Perkins to help with memorial service expenses.

Sandra was born on June 8, 1962 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy Arthur and Virginia Lea (Reynolds) Bates.

Sandra, lovingly known to all her friends and family as "Sam". She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

She loved spending time with animals, tending her flower gardens, playing Canasta with her card buddies, family trips to Cape San Blas beach, one of her favorites and attending Life Church when she was able.

She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Arthur Bates; sister, Melinda Lea Wilson; grandparents, Alva Lafayette and America Clementine Reynolds and Roy Clifford and Leona May Bates. Sandra is survived by her mother, Virginia Lowry of Perkins, OK; sisters, Susan (Thomas) Holmes of Chandler, OK and Michelle Lolley of Chandler, OK; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her favorite scriptures were Ephesians 5:8 "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light" and Psalm 46:10 " He says, 'Be still, and know that I am God...'"

Per her wishes, Sandra will be cremated and her remains will scattered in the ocean, which will occur at a later date by her beloved family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
