Daniel Lee Schultz, age 62, of Bokchito, Oklahoma and formerly of Mazeppa, Minnesota passed away on Saturday April 11, 2026. Daniel was born on June 26, 1963, in Mazeppa, MN to parents Robert Joseph and Marion Zane (Books) Schultz. Daniel was formerly married to Nancy Joy Wilbright and worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He was a supporter of the Lions Club and the Veterans. He enjoyed classic cars, racing, tinkering with wood, leather, and metals.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents; son Joseph Daniel Schultz; and sister Pamela.
Daniel is survived by his daughter Heidi Schultz of Bokchito, OK; grandson Rodney Middleton III of Bokchito, OK; brothers Mike Schultz and wife Brenda of Mazeppa, MN and Randy Schultz and wife Penny of Mazeppa, MN; sister Janet Olsen and husband Arnold of Lake City, MN; and nephews Andy Plank, Brian Plank, and Colin Schultz.
A time of viewing and visitation will be held at 4:00 PM Friday April 17, 2026, at Brown’s Durant Funeral Service. A graveside memorial service will be held on May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Prairie Cemetery in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota followed by refreshments at the American Legion in Mazeppa, MN at 2:30 PM.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
