George Robert Schuh

George Robert Schuh

George Schuh, age 67 of Norman, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. George Robert Schuh was born May 6, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI, one of three sons born to J. and Jane (Hantschel) Schuh. He was raised primarily in the Broomfield, Colorado area where he attended school, graduating in 1966. He then attended Northern Colorado University where he earned a Bachelor in Communication and Education Degree.

George joined the United States Army and served his country proudly as an Intel Agent during the Vietnam War. He began working as a Claims Adjuster and this lead to a very promising career within the Insurance industry. George married his best friend and soul mate, Deanna Janae Hunter and they made their home in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In his younger days, George had an eye and a love for photography. He was an avid shopper and spent countless hours volunteering at the Food Bank in Denton. George loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Rhema Valley Family Church, where he served as Children’s Pastor. In 2012, George and Deanna moved to Norman to be closer to family. George was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His parents, J. and Jane Schuh and His brother, Curt Schuh.

George leaves behind: His wife, Deanna Schuh of the home; His brother, Jack Schuh and wife Shirley of Ft. Collins, CO; Step children, Stephen Kenneth Jett of Denton, TX, Billy Joe Armstrong and wife Ann of Shawnee and Debra Skaggs and husband Carter of Denton, TX; 9 grandchildren, Axel, Cooper, Noah, Jett, Jada, Andrea, Amanda, Paisley and Tyler; 2 great grandchildren, Cilas and Rose; And a host of other family and friends.

A Private Memorial service is scheduled for a later time. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell, OK.
