Rhonda L. (Clifton) Schrum

Rhonda L. (Clifton) Schrum
Tuesday, November 25th, 1952 ~ Thursday, January 30th, 2020

Rhonda went to be with our Lord & Savior on January 30, 2020. She was born and raised in Oklahoma City by her parents Marion Clifton & Rosetta Clifton (Riggs). She graduated from U.S. Grant High School, later attending Mid America Christian University and Southwestern Christian University where she studied finance and music. Rhonda had many career ventures, working namely for the Internal Revenue Service and the Federal Aviation Administration, but her true passion was always music. On Dec 27, 1991 she married Forrest “Rich” Schrum in OKC and the two later settled in Newcastle, OK. Rhonda was a tax accountant and owned her own tax consulting practice. She loved music and traveling of any sort. She enjoyed going on Caribbean cruises, taking trips to Germany and Italy, as well as traveling around the USA. Rhonda visited Liberia for a few months with her missionary aunt, sharing her musical talents, where she was known through the villages as “the blonde lady”. Rhonda and Rich hosted foreign exchange students, helping them to assimilate into the American culture. Rhonda was a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother, with a warm spirit and caring attitude. Rhonda will be eternally remembered and memories of her will be cherished.

She was preceded in death by her
