Lerene (Keeble) Schornick

Lerene (Keeble) Schornick
February 25, 1940 ~ June 24, 2020

Lerene K. Schornick was born in Enid, OK to parents Doris and Burton Keeble on February 25, 1940. She and her husband Cliff were high school sweethearts who married in Wichita, Kansas on August 22, 1958.

In January of 1967, she moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma. At the time of her death, on June 24, 2020, she had been living in Bartlesville 53 years and was married to Cliff for 61 years and ten months.

Lerene was a proud stay-at-home mother whose three daughters, Debbie, Suzanne, and Sandy benefitted greatly from her love, guidance, and unselfishness. Later, she did the same thing for six grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She was a strong Christian who lived her faith through her unselfish desire to love and uplift all she met.

Since 1991, she and Cliff have traveled the USA in their motorhome serving God through faith-based organizations.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a tax-exempt gift to either of her favorite charities: United Methodist NOMADS, P.O. Box 9066, Hot Springs Village, AR 71910 and Agape Mission, P.O. Box 1085, Bartlesville, OK 74005.

Visitation will be held from Saturday, June 29, 2020 from 9am - 5pm and on Monday, June 29th from 9am - 8pm. The family will receive guests from 6pm - 8pm on Monday, June 29th. Services will be held on June 30th at 2:00 pm at the East Cross United Methodist Church.
