Edgar Wayne "Sunny" Scarberry, Jr.
June 3, 1948 ~ January 15, 2022

Funeral services for Sunny Scarberry will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Jacob officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

Edgar was born on June 3, 1948 in Glendale, Arizona to Edgar Scarberry, Sr. and Cleo Jacob Scarberry and died on January 15, 2022 in Oklahoma City.

He grew up in Valiant, Oklahoma and at the age of 17, enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. Following his discharge, he went to Muskogee Trade School, studying boot making. Sunny enjoyed traveling. He made his home in Enid in 1986. Sunny enjoyed leathermaking, beadwork, rock sculpting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He was a boy scout leader.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Edgar III; two brothers, Wallace White Jr and Dennis Scarberry.

Sunny is survived by his children, Michelle Hice, Quishemia Carpenter, Shea McMahan, Aimee Vculek, Wallace White III, Stephanie Clark, Corbett White, Chanti Diaz, Ta-ni-mara Batey, Newton Clark, Trinity Clark, Allen Clark; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Kevin Clark; sisters, Joni Carpenter, Sherry Brown, and Andrea Clark; other relatives and friends.
