Clifford Ray Sayers
April 3, 1928 ~ July 24, 2023

Clifford Ray Sayers, 95, was born on April 3, 1928 in Alfalfa County, OK to Vernie and Alberta (Jussup) Sayers. He passed away July 24, 2023 in Oklahoma City. Clifford was raised in Cherokee, OK and graduated from Cherokee High School in 1946. He married Roberta McDermott and together they had 2 children, Rhonda and Danny.

Clifford was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in Okinawa. He was a 60-year member of Williams Church of the Nazarene where he served as an usher and was on the church board for more than 40 years. Clifford was a locksmith and owned Western Lumber Company in Oklahoma City for many years.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Roberta; brother, Howard Sayers; and sister, Roberta “Bert” Winningham. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Sayers; son, Danny Sayers; brothers, Rodney Sayers and Norman Sayers and wife Cindy; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
