Scotty Wayne Sawney

Scotty Wayne Sawney
April 29, 1958 ~ August 25, 2016

Scotty Wayne Sawney was born on April 29, 1958 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life at home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years.

He is survived by his loving family that includes his wife, Tami Sawney, of the home in Stilwell, 3 children: Melissa Joffrion of Lincoln, Ark., Joshua Joffrion of Lincoln, Chadasity Brunk and husband Daniel of Sallisaw, five grandchildren: Addison Joffrion, Ashton Joffrion, Isana Dold, Gabriel Brunk and Joshua Brunk, one brother and four sisters: Billy George Sawney of Huntsville, Ark., Frankie Bartlett and husband John of Huntsville, Martha Hendrix and husband Darrell of Stilwell, Brenda Galbavy and husband Dan of Dallas, Tammie Prince and husband Hayward of Stilwell. Many other friends and family also survive him.

He was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers, one nephew and one sister-in-law: Betty Jo Scott, Rickie Sawney, Roger Sawney, Johnny Sawney, Billy Wayne Sawney, Nina Sawney.

Scotty loved fishing, listening to music, being outdoors, visiting with grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed putting a smile on people's faces. Scotty was a practical joker, hard worker, easy going and had a wonderful spirit.

He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. He will be missed.
