Detra Eileen Sauerberg, 62, of Marietta, OK, passed away on July 5, 2022 at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. Her journey in life began in Pico Rivera, CA on April 16, 1960, the daughter of Stephan and Victoria (Crow) Castleman.
Detra grew up and attended school in California. She married the love of her life Jeff Sauerberg on October 17, 1986 in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in California until relocating to Marietta in 2003. Detra worked as a CNA for Lake Country Nursing Home for 10 years and had worked at WinStar World Casino for 13 years. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman. Detra enjoyed playing games on her phone and playing slot machines at the casino too. She loved spending time with her family.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 36 years, Jeff Sauerberg of the home; sons, Steven Sauerberg of Colorado and Jeffery Sauerberg Jr. and wife Misty of the home; daughter, Jennifer Wolfe and husband Bradley of Ardmore, OK; and five grandchildren.
Detra was preceded in death by her parents, Stephan and Victoria Castleman, and brother, David Castleman.
