Hermene Saperia

1914 ~ November 30, 2003

Hermene Saperia was born in Oklahoma City, OK in 1914. At the age of 14, five years after the death of her father, she and her mother moved to Los Angeles. She graduated from UCLA in 1936, and went to work as a psychiatric social worker for over 40 years until her retirement. She brought enthusiasm and compassion to her work, finding fulfillment in helping those in need, and in raising a family with her husband, Philip.

She died November 30, 2003, leaving behind a husband, son, daughter and friends who love and miss her dearly.

Services today at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park.
