Kristie Dawn (Bird) Sands

Kristie Dawn (Bird) Sands
April 27, 1975 ~ February 28, 2022

Kristie departed from this life on February 28, 2022 in Westville Oklahoma at the age of 46.

She loved the outdoors, going to the river, and going flea market shopping. She loved being around family, especially her grandchildren. You never would see her happier than when she was with her kids or her precious grand-babies. Another thing that she loved to do was two step, she could spend all night out with her siblings dancing the night away, and she also taught her kids how to do it too. She often picked up different hobbies. She had been enjoying Woodwork and gardening, but she only liked to plant flowers.

Kristie was survived by four children. Chandler Sands and Lisa Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kane Kindle and Sunnye French of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Dalton Keen of Proctor Oklahoma; one daughter Kaylea Kindle of Westville, Oklahoma. She was also survived by 2 grandchildren, Erica, Brinlee and was expecting a 3rd, Finnley and 10 siblings, and all her nieces and nephews.

Kristie was preceded in death by her sister Kimberly Sands and her grandparents, Laura Mae and JD Bird.

She will be missed by her family and friends dearly.

Funeral Service was held 12:00 PM, Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Illinois River Baptist Church, Down Chewey Road, Watts, OK under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
