Hazel Vivian (Chain) Sanders

February 13, 1914 ~ December 26, 2005

Visitation for Hazel Vivian Sanders will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Thursday, December 29, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Friday morning, December 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m.

Hazel was born February 13, 1914 in Mountain View, Oklahoma to John and Stella Chain and she passed away December 26, 2005 in Lamont, California.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon "Pete" Sanders; son, Teddy Dean Sanders; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Margaret Sanders; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Joyce Sanders; sister, Betty Sanders; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great- great-grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.

Hazel was a founding member of Lamont Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dunn in 1950. She loved her church family and she was always involved in her church and especially with Sunday School.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hoffmann Hospice and especially Ann, Kathy, Lori, Maria and Chaplain Chuck for all the loving care they provided to our mother.

She was loved by all that knew her and she will be deeply missed.
