Billy served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force for 4 years. While in the service he met his loving wife of 69 years, Helen Frye Sanders. They were married on Friday, September 7, 1951 in Chicago, IL. Two wonderful children were blessed to this union, their son, Dante I and their daughter, Renee' who were the apple of his eye. He went on to teach which he clearly loved ALL of his students. When he retired, so many of his students would stop by his home to let him know of their accomplishments, which pleased him greatly. He was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Muskogee where he taught Sunday School. He loved working on and looking for and talking about antique cars. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and will be missed and loved so much.
