The memorial service for Virginia G. Sanchez, 83 year-old Enid resident is 2PM Monday, July 11, 2016 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. She was born May 13, 1933 in Monterrey, Mexico to Francisco and Leonor Saenz and passed on the Fourth of July.

As Enid's first Mexican family, she and her husband Roberto arrived to own several Iconic Enid restaurants including the Longhorn Cafe', Red Feather, and Roberto's (Enid's first authentic Mexican food). With her master's degree she became professor of Spanish at Phillips. She was a Garfield County Counselor and campfire leader.

She is survived by her daughters Veronica Withington (and Dan Withington) and Monica Sanchez, 5 grandchildren, Olivia, Jessica, Adam, Vivien, and Carl Koehn Jr. Siblings Myriam Tovar, Arnoldo Saenz, and Iris Margarita.

Preceded by her sisters Lilia and Nelly and brother Francisco.
